Vireo Raises Awareness of NY’s Medical Marijuana Program in El Diario and The Jewish Week
New York, N.Y. – Vireo Health of New York (“Vireo”), one of five medical marijuana companies currently operating in New York State, is proud to announce new print and digital advertisements appearing in New York publications El Diario and The Jewish Week.
The new advertisements underscore Vireo’s commitment to patients of all backgrounds and are the latest in a string of groundbreaking advertisements aimed at raising awareness about New York’s medical marijuana program. Vireo previously launched the first-ever medical marijuana advertising campaign in the history of the New York City subway system.
The Spanish-language advertisements in El Diario are scheduled to launch on February 9th and are designed to reach Spanish-speaking New Yorkers. The Jewish Week advertisements will begin to appear in a special February 9th Healthcare section and will highlight Vireo’s kosher medical marijuana product offerings. Both advertisements offer patients an $18 discount off their first online order of $100 or more.
“These new advertisements mark Vireo’s latest effort to encourage New Yorkers of all backgrounds to speak with their doctors about medical marijuana,” said Ari Hoffnung, CEO of Vireo Health of New York. “It is our hope that advertising in publications familiar to diverse groups of New Yorkers will spark important conversations that help combat the lingering stigma associated with medical marijuana.”
Vireo Chief Medical Officer Dr. Stephen Dahmer is fluent in Spanish and regularly assists patients who are more comfortable discussing their medical conditions in Spanish.
