Brendan Sweeny is the General Manager of the Maryland manufacturing facility for Vireo Health. Brendan brings over 11 years of food processing experience to Vireo Health. Prior to joining Vireo Health, Brendan worked as the Vice President of Operations with Handy Seafood Inc., a 100 year old seafood processor based in Maryland and operating out of 12 countries throughout North America, Central America, and Asia. Brendan also served on several food safety and traceability working groups with the National Fisheries Institute, an industry trade group, while in the seafood industry. Brendan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and a Masters of Environmental Science and Management from the University of Rhode Island.
