A medical marijuana company with facilities in the Albany region has a new CEO.
Ari Hoffnung, a former New York City deputy comptroller who led a team that reported on the fiscal impacts of legal marijuana in the city, is the new CEO of Vireo Health of New York.
Hoffnung was previously the CEO of one of the dozens of medical marijuana companies that didn’t get picked for a license by the state — he co-founded Fiorello Pharmaceuticals Inc.
